You're Invited: May 2020 General Meeting with Featured Guests President Gregory L. Fenves and Interim President Designate Jay Hartzell

Please join us virtually for our May Staff Council Meeting: Thursday, May 21st, 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Prior to the meeting we will write again with a Zoom link. Some of you may recall that we hit the participant-limit during our April meeting. For our May meeting we have obtained permission for vastly more participants, and additionally will be setting up an overflow room via Facebook Live.

I am pleased to announce that our guest speakers for the May meeting will be President Gregory L. Fenves, and Interim President Designate Jay Hartzell. They will be providing the latest updates on UT's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will be available to answer your questions and address your concerns. Please bring your questions and concerns to the meeting, or you may submit them in advance using our optionally-anonymous Issues Form.



I would also like to share with you that our Staff Council Issues and Research Committee has formed a subcommittee to ensure that staff concerns specific to the COVID-19 crisis are addressed. The Research and Issues Subcommittee on COVID-19 (RISC) will continue to accept issues and concerns through the same methods (Issues Form and email), but COVID-specific issues will be given priority.
