Please join us virtually this week for our May Staff Council Meeting:  Thursday, May 21st, 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Please access the meeting via this Zoom link. Note that meeting attendance is restricted to those using the UT-licensed Zoom account, which requires a UT EID. For those with different Zoom accounts, please do not use your non-EID Zoom logins. By limiting access to UT-licensed Zoom logins, we can ensure maximum participation for our most important audience, which is UT staff members.

Some of you may recall that we hit the Zoom participant limit during our April meeting. For our May meeting we have obtained permission for vastly more participants. If for some reason we hit our increased limit of 1,000 Zoom participants, the meeting can be streamed via Facebook Live. Our Facebook page is public, so a Facebook account is not needed to access this livestream.

Our featured guests for the May meeting are President Gregory L. Fenves and Interim President Designate Jay Hartzell. They will be available to answer your questions and address your concerns regarding the university's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please bring your questions and concerns to the meeting, or you may submit them in advance using our optionally-anonymous Issues Form.

I would also like to share with you an opportunity provided by our friends in UT Learning & Development. They will be hosting a Leadership Talk with Tommy Darwin, Director of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Program in the Moody College of Communication. The focus of the discussion will be psychological safety, and you may watch it via Facebook Live this Friday, May 22nd, 9:30 - 10:00 am.

I hope you can join us for our Staff Council meeting this Thursday. If you have a scheduling conflict you are welcome to watch the recording of the meeting, which will be added to our Meetings web page.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at chair@utsc.utexas.edu at any time.
