For the last four years, the Staff Council Sustainability Committee has partnered with the Office of Sustainability to co-host a staff appreciation lunch in April.  Last year’s event was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19, but we are happy to announce the Earth Month Staff Sustainability Lunch is back (via Zoom, of course, and minus the food) on Friday, April 30th from noon-1:00. Click here to add it to your calendar now.

Please join us for an engaging and informative program featuring Dr. Richard Reddick, Associate Dean for Equity, Community Engagement, and Outreach, College of Education. Dr. Reddick will be speaking on broad trends of diversity in higher education and how they are manifesting on the UT Austin campus, and answering staff questions. Dr. Reddick also serves on the UT Austin President’s Sustainability Steering Committee (PSSC).

Jim Walker, the Director of Sustainability, will provide an overview of the five-year update to the Campus Sustainability Plan including the values developed by the PSSC that will drive the planning process, the draft goals for the campus sustainability plan, and how staff can provide input.

UT staff and faculty can join the Zoom webinar at https://utexas.zoom.us/j/98870834016

We look forward to seeing you!
