News

In response to feedback we received from a constituent via the UT Staff Council Issue Submission Form, our colleagues in the Human Resources Service Center made an improvement to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) process.

Marlo P. Kibler, Director of the Human Resources Service Center, provided us with this update in response to your fellow constituent's feedback.

To enhance efficiency and provide greater transparency, we’ve transitioned to an electronic submission process.

Here is what’s new:
Faster Processing: Say goodbye to delays! The new system speeds up request handling.

Track Your Requests: Enjoy real-time updates on the progress of your submission through the Department of Financial Aid.

We have updated our website with a quick link to step-by-step instructions, making it easy to navigate the new process.

Please note: The HR Service Center portal is available exclusively for questions about PSLF—not for form submissions.

We are confident this change will make the PSLF process smoother and more empowering for all employees. Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to improve!

Big thanks to your fellow constituent for submitting the feedback and to Marlo and her team for making process improvements.

Please feel free to reach out to any of the Staff Council Officers if you ever have questions or concerns. You can also submit an issue for Staff Council to research via our 'Submit an Issue' link found at the top of every Staff Council web page at https://staffcouncil.utexas.edu. Issues may be submitted anonymously.
