News and Additional Opportunities
1) UT Staff Council Professional Development Grant Program Mark your calendars: the Fall 2024 Professional Development Grant application period will begin on Monday, September 2 at 8:00 a.m. (CDT) through Monday, September 16 at 11:59 p.m. (CDT). A link to the application will be posted on the program's web page.
2) UT Outpost Support Opportunities UT Outpost, the campus food pantry and career closet, supports UT Austin students experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship with free groceries and free professional clothing. We can support students by considering donation opportunities such as personal donations and donation drives. Information about these opportunities can be found on the UT Outpost website.
3) Landmarks Video Program Consider heading to the Art Building and Museum atrium for an art break. Landmarks, the university's public art program, is celebrating its fifteenth season of Landmarks Video, "...a curated program of highly regarded and influential video art from the past seven decades." Videos are on view Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. For additional information, check out this blog post about the 2024-25 season.
