I am reaching out to you with an update about what Staff Council is doing with the feedback that it has received via the Staff Council Issue Submission Form related to the 'Return to On-Site Work' policy. Based on your feedback, I recognize that this policy shift has resulted in significant life-altering changes and challenges for many of us. In the wake of this change, your Staff Council Officers will continue to receive your feedback, will share it with campus leadership, and will advocate for initiatives that aim to support us.
Informed by the recommendations and desired outcomes outlined in the summary and analysis document, Staff Council Officers are working collaboratively with university leadership to develop initiatives that will foster a positive work environment that supports the holistic well-being and professional growth of employees.
Staff Council's Standing Committees convene in September and will engage with campus partners to contribute time and energy towards these initiatives.
We will provide updates as soon as we can communicate additional information. As always, please feel free to reach out to any of the Staff Council Officers if you ever have questions or concerns.
