Event Description
Join us for an insightful panel discussion on staff mobility and transportation options at UT, focusing on the university's efforts to minimize emissions and enhance sustainability. The panel, moderated by UT’s Director of Sustainability, Jim Walker, will explore current and upcoming initiatives, including near-term plans for expanded CapMetro Rapid bus service to the edges of Austin and to surrounding areas, where many staff members reside. The panel will also provide context for UT's plans with the data compiled from the Center for Transportation Research surveys. Additionally, students from the Orange Bike Project will present opportunities for both students and staff to engage with this program.
Do not miss this opportunity to learn how UT is working to understand your commuting needs and to reduce emissions, as well as how you can contribute to these efforts! We look forward to your participation and any questions you may have for our panelists.
