Please join us virtually this week for our May Staff Council Meeting:  Thursday, May 21st, 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Please access the meeting via this Zoom link. Note that meeting attendance is restricted to those using the UT-licensed Zoom account, which requires a UT EID. For those with different Zoom accounts, please do not use your non-EID Zoom logins.

Please join us virtually for our May Staff Council Meeting: Thursday, May 21st, 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Prior to the meeting we will write again with a Zoom link. Some of you may recall that we hit the participant-limit during our April meeting. For our May meeting we have obtained permission for vastly more participants, and additionally will be setting up an overflow room via Facebook Live.

Elections are now open for districts with multiple candidates on the ballot. You will be able to cast your vote for the candidate of your choice if you are part of a district that is having an election.



Voting will remain open through end-of-day Friday, May 8, 2020.

The nomination period is now open for this spring’s Staff Council elections. If your district has seats open and you or one of your colleagues is interested in becoming a representative, please submit a nomination today! The nomination form can be found here, and a full list of districts and representatives is here. Nominations will remain open through Friday,

During Staff Council's General Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2020, guest speaker Darrell Bazzell, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer provided an update on UT's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and answered questions posed by staff members.

We in Staff Council wanted to check in with all of you, and we hope you continue to adjust to the new normal of our times. Our work in support of you and as the voice for UT staff continues, and I wanted to check in and give you a brief update.

I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves during these challenging and ever-changing days.  These are definitely unprecedented times.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for our Diversity & Inclusion Mixer today.  It was a great success, with engaging conversation and uplifting community.  The sharing and interaction at events like this is really one of the great things about working at UT.

I hope you are all off to a great spring semester, and I wanted to make sure you are aware of some great upcoming opportunities.
