News and Additional Opportunities

1) UTSC General Meeting with President Hartzell (April 18, 2024)
UTSC is looking forward to hosting President Hartzell during our April General Meeting. Please consider submitting your questions in advance using this optionally anonymous form (deadline to submit via the form is Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CST). You will also have an opportunity to submit questions during the meeting's live Q&A.

2) Staff Sustainability Lunch (April 3, 2024)
UT Staff Council's Sustainability Committee and the Office of Sustainability are partnering to present this annual event. This year's featured speakers will provide lighting talks focused on UT Austin as a living-learning community showcasing staff impact in sustainability-focused experiential programs. In addition, we'll discuss how staff can get involved in hands-on learning opportunities around environmental and social issues we care about. 3) Professional Development Showcase (April 17, 2024)
UT Staff Council's Professional Development Committee is hosting this showcase featuring Emil Kresl, Director of Learning & Development, who will illuminate the nuances between professional development and job training, while acquainting attendees with the resources available to further their career and impact on the university. In addition to free resources that are available to all UT staff, we will discuss tips for applying for the UTSC Professional Development Grant and hear from past UTSC Professional Development Grant awardees.
